Our two newest projects, The Pains and Peace & War, have worked their rears off for two weeks practicing a set of covers and composing originals. This Friday at 1 p.m., all bets are off. Come see what these ultra-talented kids have in store for you in the newly-opened "Devil's Lounge", in the basement of the school. Showtime is around 1:30 p.m. and the doors open to the public at 1 p.m. This is not to be missed!

Monday, August 4, the House Band will perform in support of the PGSOR All-Star Band at Main Street Billiards. The All-Stars are coming off of an engagement supporting the legendary Butthole Surfers and are swinging through Rochester on their way home from playing Lalapalooza. This is a real treat for us, and should not be missed.
The show is all ages, the cover charge is $10 and we must do our best to attend. This is our opportunity to meet Paul Green, the founder of our school, learn from the best of what our greater school has to offer, as well as talk in person to those kids who have been traveling and playing on the road.
Our Freedom Rock Rehearsal group will be free to walk over to the event (approved and/or accompanied by parents) directly following our practice to see the show just as is starts.

Comerica Cityfest 2008 (formerly Tastefest), will take the stage, Wednesday, July 2 – Sunday, July 6, for its 20th year of transforming Detroit's Historic New Center into the city's biggest and best summer festival. The 2008 festival will serve up another scrumptious slice of music, food and culture on West Grand Boulevard between Cass Avenue and Third Avenue.
You have two great chances to see the Paul Green School of Rock!!! Performances will be on the Park stage July 4th at 2:30, and July 5th at 2:30.
The Park Stage is located at the corner of W. Grand Blvd. and Third St., at the foot of the Fischer Building in New Center Area.
