Sophia
Guitar Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Drums Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Recording & Production Teacher
Sophia is a multi-instrumental music educator with six years of teaching experience.
She began playing guitar at a young age and quickly realized that learning other instruments deepened her overall understanding of music. Her musical foundation is rooted in classical guitar, developed through performing in a classical quartet at concerts and weddings, but her interests and experience extend well beyond a single style. Those early ensemble and performance experiences helped shape both her technique and her collaborative approach to making music.
Sophia began teaching through private, in-home lessons, initially focusing on guitar and ukulele. As her own musicianship grew, she added other essential band instruments to her teaching practice. Today, she teaches guitar lessons, keyboard and piano lessons, bass lessons, drum lessons, vocal lessons, and recording and production lessons.
Sophia believes that becoming a multi-instrumentalist is one of the most effective ways to understand music, as applying the same concepts across different instruments helps students internalize technique, theory, and creativity more naturally.
Outside of teaching, Sophia is an active musician. She currently plays keyboard + piano and sings background vocals for the band Pink Teeth, and has extensive experience in recording and music production, working primarily in Logic Pro. She is also the owner of Monke Works Music, bringing her experience as a performer, educator, and producer into her work with students at School of Rock Buckhead.

He began working at The Zone studio in Norcross, GA during the rise of Atlanta’s rap scene, contributing to projects involving artists such as Juvenile, Ludacris, and André 3000. Shifting his focus from performing to producing, he opened his own studio in Decatur in 2010 working closely with several local Atlanta bans before eventually joining with Stokeswood, whom he had been producing, as a full-time member.
Throughout the 2010s, Justin toured extensively with Stokeswood, playing major festivals including Bonnaroo, KAABOO, and SweetWater 420 Fest. In 2024, Justin expanded into music playback for film and television, working on productions for major studios and bringing his live and production experience into the world of on-set audio.
