After months of planning and construction, we are excited to announce our brand-new School of Rock Ankeny location will be opening in mid-August!

Isla Wilson is a student at School of Rock West Des Moines. She has been rocking bass and vocals for about two years. Her favorite part of the experience is meeting new people and learning new songs.

Chloe Weidl is a drums instructor at the Cedar Rapids/Marion School of Rock and has been part of the staff since April 2021. Before becoming a teacher, Weidl was a student at the SOR in Geneva, IL while in high school. So, the transition to teaching was easy when she moved to Iowa because she already knew how the program works.
