A changing of the guard, so to speak, happened a couple weeks ago as we officially kicked off the 2023/2024 Aurora House Band Season. After a night of intense auditions and difficult deliberations, 13 talented students were officially selected to represent our school over the next year as members of the House Band. Congratulations to Valentina, Ava, Silvana, Elliott, Emilina, Kadin, Gavin, Josias, Gabe, Parker, Frankie, Noah & Maxim. We are looking forward to a fantastic season!

Our House Band is an audition-only group which represents the most talented musicians and leaders from our school.Think of them as our “Varsity Team”. Over the course of the season, they develop a large setlist ranging from rock and roll classics, blues, pop, modern hits, and more that they then utilize to play gigs all around Colorado. They are constantly adding new material with the goal of delivering a high-level performance on par with any professional band. 

A few of the events they’ve played include the City of Aurora's July 4th Spectacular, Parker Days, and venues such as the Marquis Theater, Toad Tavern, Lost Lake Lounge, WIld Goose Saloon, and Number 38. Notably, the band has played Red Rocks, Summerfest Music Festival in Milwaukee, and was the opening act for The Last Waltz Revisited at the Fillmore Auditorium in 2022.
