It's always hard to say goodbye but that's just what we had to do when 5 of our graduating seniors took to the stage at our summer showcase to perform one final senior set. Tristan, Pierce, Jackson, Ellie, & Casey have been integral members of our School of Rock Aurora community for many years. All members of our House Band, it was bittersweet to see them put on one last show. But boy what a show it was!
Ellie showcased her powerhouse vocals performing Greta Van Fleet's "Lover, Leaver." Jackson impressed the crowd with his multi-hyphenate ability to sing and play guitar during "Interstate Love Song" by the Stone Temple Pilots. Casey absolutely shredded his incredible solos in "Nothing Left" by Matt Schofield. Tristan displayed his immense range and versatility with "Ohio is for Lovers" by Hawthorne Heights. Pierce brought it all home with style with the Foo Fighters' "Everlong." And just like that... they received their gold records and exchanged hugs and exited the stage.
We are incredibly proud of them all and look forward to seeing what the future holds for these talented young adults!
