Join us as we celebrate and perform the harder-edged side of Rock and Roll in our 5-day Metal Gods music camp.
about this camp
Metal Music Camp focuses on the pioneers of Heavy Metal such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and many more! This 5-day camp will feature soaring vocals, shredding guitar, and thundering bass and drums. This camp is great for metal heads 9-18 who have had some previous instruction. Come raise your horns as we salute the Gods of Heavy Metal!
SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday from 9am - 3 pm each day, with a Friday performance at 3pm.
- Drop off is no earlier than 5 minutes before the start of camp
- Pick up will be no later than 3:15pm Monday - Thursday
- Each day will consist of individual instruction, rehearsals, practice time, and fun music-based games/activities, culminating in a live performance Friday!
FRIDAY PERFORMANCE
On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they’ve been working on all week. The show will take place at School of Rock Bedford at 3pm. More details will be provided on the first day of camp!
What to bring
- Students should bring a packed lunch each day - we cannot allow students to go up into town on their own to purchase food.
- Guitarists: Pick, guitar, and strap (if they have their own)
- Bassists: Bass strap and bass (if they have their own)
- Drummers: Drumsticks
- Keyboardists: No equipment required
- Vocalists: No equipment required
- All students should also bring a water bottle, notebook or folder with paper, and a writing utensil for camp.
cancellation policy
A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
