Rock out to the great bands of the 90's and 2000's featuring Nirvana, Green Day and more. Great for students 10-17 with at least 6 months prior experience
CAMP DESCRIPTION
The 90s were one of music’s most important decades as grunge and alternative music took over the airwaves and popular culture. Come celebrate bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer and many more in our 90s and beyond music camp. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 90s, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 10-17 years old who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Thursday 9am - 2:30pm and Friday 9am - 1:30pm.
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games & activities.
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks.
