Lily Beimer's love of playing guitar was kind of a random discovery.

"My older sister had a guitar she never played that I picked up one day and started learning it," Beimer said.

Since joining School of Rock about a year ago, Lily is determined to continue growing as a musician.  She says her motivation to practice and learn is by watching other bands perform.

As she strums each string, there is also a bigger goal on the horizon.

"My goal with music is to be able to do it professionally and make a career out of it," Beimer said.
