Despite the best efforts of Hurricane Florence, our end-of-season shows went on as planned.
The day started off with "It's Only Rolling Stones, But I Like It" and we heard some of the Stones' greatest hits from "Satisfaction" to "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and, of course, "It's Only Rock N Roll But I Like It."
The Rock 1-0-FUNers took the stage next and wowed us with songs from Sheryl Crow, Lenny Kravitz, Imagine Dragons, The Cranberries, and Steppenwolf.
Later in the afternoon, the musicians from "Classic Metal" melted our faces with the likes of ACDC, Metallica, Dio, Ozzy Osbourne, and more.
Finishing off our rocking afternoon was the adult program. A surprise performance from our solo adult act, The Artist No Longer Known As Chase, kicked things off with a couple of songs (with help from MD Jake and Owner Dave) before the 15-501ers took over and finished off the day with a bang.
Throughout the day we celebrated some Rock 101 and Rookies graduations and sent off two of our talented instructors. Paul is headed to Wake Forest to teach, and RJ is Nashville bound to chase The Dream.
It was a great afternoon filled with music and our awesome School of Rock Chapel Hill community. Stay tuned for upcoming events as we kick off our fall show season featuring the performance program groups "Best of Clapton" and "Grunge!"
