Come learn, play and perform some of the all-time hits from the 80s that feature artists like Billy Idol, DEVO, Cyndi Lauper and many more!

Camp description

The 80s brought us a wave of new sounds and music genres, and produced hits that still rock the airwaves today. In this music camp, we'll perform hits from artists like Billy Idol, Devo, cyndi Lauper, Van Halen, Flock of Seagulls, and many more. Monday through Friday will be spent learning and rehearsing these 80's songs, culminating in a live performance.

Great for students ages 10-18. Intermediate experience or further is required on your student's instrument to enroll in this camp. All beginners should jam with us in our Rock 101 camp! Please call the school with any questions about enrollment. 

what to expect

Come ready to rock from 9:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Lunch will be eaten outdoors (weather permitting). Please pack a lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection for all camp days. There will be a performance at a nearby venue on Friday at 12:30pm. Friends and family are welcome!

cancellation policy

The health and safety of our students is our top priority. Camps that are canceled up to 15 days prior to the start of camp can receive a full refund of an account credit to be used for any School of Rock Chicago West program/camp or a refund back to the card used minus a $50 cancellation fee. If the camp is canceled within 14 days of the start of the camp, full refund of an account credit to be used for any School of Rock Chicago West program/camp or a 50% refund back to the card used.
