Come celebrate the music of the iconic band Nirvana!
Dive deep into the raw energy and spirit of one of the most iconic rock bands of all time, Nirvana! Throughout the five days of this music camp, students will learn to play Nirvana's legendary hits like "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "Come As You Are," and "Lithium, mastering the power chords, distorted riffs, and emotive lyrics that made Kurt Cobain a rock icon. We’ll also dive into the band’s impact on 90s culture, discussing their influence on alternative rock and the music world at large. Great for students 9-17 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9:30am – 3:30pm each day
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
Cancellation policy
A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
