1. WHO OR WHAT IS YOUR SINGLE BIGGEST SOURCE OF INSPIRATION?
The Beatles were the first musicians I ever loved, and my appreciation of them continues to deepen over time. They always tried out new musical ideas and technology and created an entire catalog of classic songs in the process.
2. WHAT FAMOUS MUSICIAN, DEAD OR ALIVE, WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH?
I would love to have dinner with Brian Wilson. His music and story means a lot to me, and I get the feeling we could have been great friends in another life.

3. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BRAND TO WORK WITH AND WHY?
There are so many amazing keyboard manufacturers who have made revolutionary instruments over the years, but I continue to be a loyal Roland user to this day. I use their DS-88 keyboard for every gig I play. Also, the Jupiter-8 is one of my dream synthesizers; I would love to own one!
4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LINE FROM A SONG?
My old favorite is from "Truckin'" by the Grateful Dead: "Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it's been". I've found that life always ends up taking you to places you may not have expected to end up in (Like teaching at School of Rock)!
5. WHAT IS THE BEST LIVE MUSIC PERFORMANCE YOU HAVE SEEN?
The best concert I have ever seen was Roger Waters' Us + Them tour in 2017. He brought out almost all of his Pink Floyd classics and they were performed immaculately. He sings better today than he did in the 70s!
6. WHAT THREE WORDS DO YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU THINK OF SCHOOL OF ROCK ?
Community, Support, Inclusion
7. WHAT DO YOU HOPE YOUR STUDENTS WILL TAKE AWAY FROM YOUR LESSONS, or SHOW?
I hope each student of mine develops critical-thinking and problem-solving skills through their studies so they can be successful in their own musical goals when they eventually graduate from School of Rock. However, none of that matters if the students aren't also having fun!
