We are beyond excited to announce that our very own instructor, Desmond Roberts, is competing on this season of American Idol! Be sure to tune in to ABC on Sunday evenings to watch and cheer him on as he embarks on this incredible journey.

Desmond is a talented vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter who was raised in Orange County, California. His musical journey began early, as he started singing at just 3 years old and playing piano by the age of 7. Over the years, Desmond developed a deep appreciation for a wide variety of musical genres, drawing inspiration from artists like Sara Bareilles, Stevie Wonder, and Ryan Tedder, as well as Linkin Park, Third Eye Blind, Jónsi, Taj Mahal, and many others.

After earning his degree in songwriting from Berklee College of Music, Desmond dedicated himself to sharing his passion for music. Whether he's exploring new genres, mastering different instruments, or inspiring students through the School of Rock program, Desmond's love for music shines through in everything he does.
