About This Camp

Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 5 to 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This five-day camp runs Monday through Friday.

What To Expect

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors.

Weekly Schedule

• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 10am - 2pm each day
• Drop off is no earlier than 5 minutes before the start of camp
• Pick up is no later than 5 minutes after camp
• Each day will consist of instrument exploration and fun, music-based games and activities 

Friday Performance

On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends by performing the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week. The show will take place our school location, 311B Towne Drive, Fayetteville, NY 13066, and will start promptly at 1:00 PM.

What to Bring?

• Campers must bring their own snacks and water each day
• Campers must bring a packed lunch
• Campers must bring their own hearing protection (available for purchase)

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.

Cancellation Policy

A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
