CAMP DESCRIPTION
Has your child been asking to learn an instrument but isn't quite sure which one to pick? Maybe they have shown interest in an instrument or vocals but you haven't found the right time to begin? Our Beginner Music Camp is just what they need!
This camp is designed for beginning-level students ages 7-10 with no prior experience. We create the opportunity to experience all rock instruments, including vocals, through open-form instruction. Students will also learn performance-related skills in a band setting. They'll have fun jamming with each other and the staff all while learning via great rock songs!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, campers will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
WEEKLY CAMP SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 3 PM
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time, and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
PERFORMANCE Details
Don’t miss our Beginner Music Camp’s grand finale! Join us on Friday, June 13th, 2 PM, at our in-house school venue for a live performance showcasing everything our young rockers have learned. Friends and family are invited to cheer on these budding musicians as they take the stage for their debut show!
CANCELLATION POLICY
A refund, less a $50 fee, will be offered on camps canceled by the participant up until March 1st. Cancellations after March 1st are not eligible for a refund.
SALES POLICY
We run sales on camps periodically throughout the year. While you can wait for a sale, this will not guarantee you a spot in a camp as they do fill up quickly. We will not retroactively discount a camp from a current or future sale. All pricing is final once the processing is complete.
