In this camp, 6 and 7 year old beginners will learn about different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation as they rock out to Taylor Swift's greatest hits!
CAMP DESCRIPTION
Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this camp, students will use the inspiring music of Taylor Swift to learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This summer camp is designed for 6 – 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 12:30am - 2:30pm each day
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based game & activities
- By design there is no end of camp performance. This allows for the camp's focus to be solely on acclimating students to rock music and to learning a new instrument. We will produce and share fun videos to give a peek into what students experience during the week.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring snacks, water and hearing protection.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 30 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 30 days before camp are not eligible for a refund. If a camper is no longer able to attend the originally purchase camp, we will allow the camp enrollment to be transferred to another camp week, subject to availability.
