School of Rock Dupage County at Summerfest

School of Rock will be back at Milwaukee Summerfest this year, with all three School of Rock DuPage County Housebands rockin' out at the world's largest music festival!

Tickets for the day start at $25, and multi-day passes start at $60. School of Rock will be on the Briggs Stratton Stage from 12PM-3PM, with each band playing a 45 minute setlist. Milwaukee's far from Chicago, but we won't let that stop us from supporting our Houseband musicians!

Find out more HERE.

Naper Nights Gig, July 16th

Join us in welcoming two new faces at School of Rock Hinsdale!

Brett Sassetti
Drum Instructor

Brett has been playing the drums for over 20 years. He has played in over ten bands, in various venues throughout Chicago. Brett's projects are The Weathermakers, Sunvolume, and Ludlow. He also loves being outside, running, and being with friends and family. His favorite band is Highly Suspect because of their honesty and incredible musicianship, and he credits them for his passion for the drums. Brett's favorite drummers are The Rev, Mat Nicholls, and Travis Barker. He can't wait to share his passion for music and drumming with the next generation of musicians.

Kerry Heflin
Studio Coordinator

Kerry has been playing music for as long as she can remember. She started off by playing flute, then switched to the saxophone while in band. In high school, she started a band with two of her good friends in which she sang and played the ukulele and other instruments. She also played in the high school's marching band and jazz ensemble. In her free time, she enjoys checking out the music scene in Chicago.

We have openings in some of our SUMMER CAMPS!

Pop Legends Performance Camp

Throughout Rock and Roll history, some of the best performers were also the most popular of their time. These early Pop Legends such as Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross and Dusty Springfield paved the way for modern icons such as Madonna, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift. While this camp features mostly female artists, we also feature some of their male counterparts such as Michael Jackson and Prince. After rehearsing for five days, the campers will take the stage on the final camp day. This is a great camp for instrumentalists and vocalists 8-18 years of age, some prior experience preferred.

This Performance camp meets July 11th-15th from 10AM to 2PM. Click HERE to sign up!

Rock 101 Performance Camp

Want to play in a band onstage? Our Rock 101 camp is designed for beginners 8-12 years of age. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends.

This camp meets July 18th-21st from 10AM-2PM. Click HERE to sign up!

Have a great July!
