Join us in welcoming a new face at School of Rock Hinsdale!
Cuixi Aguilar
Guitar and Bass Instructor
Cuixi has always had a deep love for art. His passion for music began when he discovered music’s special ability to bring people together and to open portals to different times, distinct emotions, and a particular human perspective. Cuixi brings a lot of musical diversity, from his Latin American roots, his classical guitar training at the Chicago High School for the Arts & DePaul University, as well as his admiration for flamenco guitar. While at DePaul Cuixi ventured new waters by fulfilling one of his longtime dreams of starting a rock band. “Where’s Fernando?” played venues like: Cubby Bear, Subterranean, Martyrs, and Tonic Room. Cuixi has since pursued singing/songwriting and is currently playing bass for psychedelic rock band “Geek’d” and frontman for his latest project “Nuovo.”
