General Manager
Luke is a native Houstonian, father of two, and lover of sports and music! He is a singer/songwriter, who has played in many different genres of bands over the years including folk, metal, and rock, and spent years leading worship in different churches around the city.
Luke currently plays in an ambient rock/emo band from the area called Margins. He plays guitar, bass, keys, does vocals, and is starting to learn drums as well!
Music Director
Tom began his interest in music at a very young age. After his father introduced him to bands like Tom Petty, Pink Floyd, and Fleetwood Mac, he was determined to pursue a life in music. Taking inspiration from his father’s guitar playing and mother’s singing, Tom started teaching himself guitar until taking lessons at age 11.
After earning a degree in Recording Arts, Tom started writing and recording his own music before joining an indie rock band, touring the states playing large shows such as FPSF and CMJ Official, and landing a song in a Hyundai commercial through MusicDealers.com. Tom’s favorite music covers a broad spectrum, ranging from bands such as Washed Out and Radiohead to Cat Stevens and TesseracT.
Studio Coordinator
Maddie is a Houston native and a lover of the outdoors; she regularly hikes and spends most mornings on her kayak! She is an artist and a creative and recently started making her own permanent jewelry. She also loves to sing!
Maddie's introduction to music was in her band class in middle school, where she played the bassoon, and eventually the tenor sax! Her first concert was COIN, and her current favorite artist is Beach Fossils. Maddie is a big fan of indie music!
Bass Guitar Teacher, Drum Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Felix is a guitarist and keyboardist with inspiration from jazz alternative and psychedelic styles. He is passionate about music theory and creative discovery and his roots were formed in a chordal approach to keys taught by his worship leader and mentor. This was soon followed by a budding interest in exploring progressive-fusion flavors with guitar. Felix is an aspiring professional musical performer and is ecstatic to share the skills he has learning along the way.
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Jonathan is an experienced guitar player with over a decade of live performance experience. He joined his first band when he was 13 years old and has been playing gigs all over the state of Texas every weekend ever since. His influences range from great blues players like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Buddy Guy to rock legends like Jimmy Page and Angus Young.
The bands Jonathan has played with have opened for national acts such as Doyle Bramhall, Saliva, Saving Abel, and even Dennis Quaid. Jonathan is passionate about blues rock but is also experienced in multiple other genres including country, reggae, and jazz.
Drum Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Jesse is a drummer at heart, with over a decade of experience behind the drum set. He picked up on drum method and music theory through seven years as a marching band student and learned even more about the drum set by performing in the high school jazz and concert bands. He began learning guitar and bass when he was 13 years old and gained experience performing by joining bands and hosting DIY concerts.
Jesse has played gigs all over Houston with numerous bands, taking on various settings and styles of music. His diverse musical experience has allowed him to form an understanding of each instrument's importance in both independent and group settings. Jesse is committed to providing an engaging and productive learning experience for each of his students.
Vocal Teacher
Emily has had a passion for singing and began exploring songwriting at a young age. Emily’s biggest inspiration in music has always been Hayley Williams from the band Paramore!
During her high school years, Emily was part of the school choir and was honored to be chosen as an Allstate choir member. Since then, she dedicated herself to improving her singing and songwriting skills.
Additionally, Emily is a former School of Rock Student and spent three years with her school's House Band, which further developed her musical abilities. In 2022, she received the opportunity to sing the national anthem at the opening of an XFL game! Her love for music continues to inspire her and she’s always exploring new ways to express herself through heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies!
Drum Teacher, Keyboard Teacher
Josh has been playing music since elementary school where his very first instrument was a viola. Once he reached middle school, he joined the band as a percussionist and stuck with it until high school where he also played in the marching band as a snare drummer.
He studied music at the University of Southern Mississippi located in Hattiesburg, MS. There he participated in the percussion ensemble jazz band, symphony orchestra, steel pan band and the marching band. In the surrounding areas he played gigs of multiple genres on drum set, piano and steel pan. Moving forward he plans to continue to increase his musical skills and share his music with the world!
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Aron is a guitarist and bassist specializing in metal and rock music. Despite being given a guitar in 2013, it wasn't until 2015 that he started learning to actually play it. His love for the instrument has only grown since; he now writes and performs with two Houston metal bands: Wick and The Creeps.
After learning for himself how powerful and healing music can be, he's ecstatic to be able to help his students in their adventure in music. Hail to the heavy!

Dan is a drummer, guitarist, pianist, and vocalist from the Houston area. He has performed in a number of original post-rock, metal, punk, and indie bands over the years - playing in Houston venues and going on several tours of Texas and the Midwest. In junior high and high school, he developed an interest in theory and performance, and he later pursued further education in college studying audio engineering. Dan continues to participate in the production of new music in his current band, and he enjoys sharing his love of creating music with his friends, peers, and students!
Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Mel has been singing publicly since she was three years old. Singing in church and school choir, she learned from some of the humble teachers how to hone her talent through music theory and proper technique, which led to a spot in the Texas All-State choir as 1st chair second soprano for multiple years.
Later in life, she spent the better part of 8 years traveling the country, leading other young artists and teaching them about performance, setting up 3 events a week for at-risk communities and bringing them high-quality shows to encourage and build them up.
Her passion is really for the student first, to help them reach their goals and become the very best they can be through encouragement and compassion!
