Since 2001 Acadiana School of the Arts has brought exceptional music education and one of a kind performance opportunities to the young musicians of Lafayette & the surrounding areas.  Over the years hundreds of students have come to ASA to help them reach their musical goals.  Many of those students have been accepted into the LPSS Talented Music Program and Arts Magnet Academies, they've competed at the national level on The Voice, and they have learned from and played along-side Grammy nominated musicians. 

After 18 years, ASA has decided to expand their program offerings and create even more opportunities for their students.  Acadiana School of the Arts is now School of Rock Lafayette!  School of Rock's performance based music education is unique and offers an exciting approach to learning music. Their programs combine one on one lessons with group band practices for the ultimate learning experience. Throughout the year, students at SoR Lafayette will perform live on stage at real rock venues!
