In this music camp, students will gain the core knowledge and understanding of in-studio sound recording and production.
CAMP DESCRIPTION
Want to learn what it takes to record your own music? During this 5-day camp, students will learn the fundamentals of recording and production that can be applied to any type of home studio setup. Utilizing powerful and accessible recording technology and gear, students will record, mix, and master songs as a final product to take home. This is a music camp for instrumentalists and vocalists 10-18 years of age who have some proficiency with their instrument and are looking to expand into the world of music production and recording.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 2:30pm each day
- Each day consists of rehearsals, theoretical and hands-on studio work, and fun activities
- On Friday at 1:30pm, campers will perform and demonstrate a live-recording session. Family and friends are welcome!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of recording and production fundamentals taught by our in-house professional sound engineers instructors.
At the end of the camp, each student will have access to a digital version of the completed and mixed songs.
Please bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy that may look like weapons from being brought to camp.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation up to 30 days before the camp is eligible for a full refund in the form of SoR Lemont account credit (which can be used for any other School of Rock Lemont program), or a refund back to the card used minus a $50 processing fee.
Cancellation within 29 days or less before the camp is eligible for a full refund in the form of SoR Lemont account credit, or a 50% refund back to the card used.
