School of Rock House Band Students win the original music Main Stage honor on July 13, 2024 in Pleasantville before headliners such as "The Wailers", "The Record Company" and "Better than Ezra"!

As seen on News 12 Westchester, the Downtown Summer Sizzle Concert Series returned for its 2nd year to New Rochelle on Saturday to the delight of music fans with School of Rock Mamaroneck and friends. Music lovers describe it as a toe-tapping, hip-shaking, finger-snapping good time at Ruby Dee Park. Saturday's kickoff of the weekly concert series offered performances by local musicians and plenty of good vibes. More than 50 local performers are scheduled to take the stage at Ruby Dee Park every Saturday afternoon throughout the summer season.

Every four months we announce the show lineup for our performance programs. We selected the following themes for the 2024 SPRING season and they are going to Rock!! Shows to be scheduled in the middle of June. Rehearsals start the week of February 4th.

We are thrilled to debut stand up comedy workshops at School of Rock Mamaroneck taught by local professional comedian, Joe Matarese, from America's Got Talent, The Late Show with David Letterman, and his 3 One Hour Specials. The course will cover: 1) Finding humor in yourself and expressing your true voice on stage; 2) Building a 5 minute routine that helps you stand out in a competitive field; 3) The do's and don'ts of comedy from a 30 year industry pro to help expedite your success; 4) How to develop and write original stand-up material in your own true voice. 5) Prepare and work weekly towards the final graduation performance/show at an authentic comedy venue with all of your family/friends attending. The program will include 2 hour weekly workshops for 4 weeks with a scheduled graduation show after the last class. We will have a teen class and adult class - offered weeknights and weekends. Tuition is due before class starts. Each 4 week class will contain 15 people max and 8 people min.
