Rock 101 camp is for beginners 7-12 years of age. No experience needed. Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities.

Want to play in a band onstage? Our Rock 101 camp is designed for beginners 7-12 years of age. No experience necessary! Students will learn the basics of music with hands-on experience playing guitar, bass, keys, drums or singing.  In addition, they will explore their instruments through musical games and activities and make cool friends along the way! Students will learn songs by artists such as the White Stripes, Green Day, AC/DC, Joan Jett, Queen, Imagine Dragons and more (song selection may vary). Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. All students will work on songs Monday through Friday and experience the thrill of performing together in a professional environment.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 2pm each day.

Each day's agenda will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based game & activities.  We'll break for lunch too!

On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, a re-fillable water bottle and their instruments (if they have one....otherwise they can use ours!). Hearing protection will be provided to all campers.  This is a "no-pressure" environment, which means it's perfect for beginners or those with a little experience (and even shy students!).
