In this music camp, 1st and 2nd grade beginners will learn about different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation all while having fun learning rock music.

ROOKIES CAMP

Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for students in the first and second grades who have little to no experience with music. 

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp runs Monday - Wednesday, 10am - 2pm
• Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational camp of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, and water.

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
