We had an absolutely amazing day at the annual Poboy Fest on Oak Street.  The School of Rock house band performed on the porch stage to a huge audience that quickly fell in love.  They got called for some encores and played classic hits such as "Hurts so Good", "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" and "Barracuda".  One of our house band memebers, August also got to play witht the legendary George Porter Jr. He played drums for the Meters' classic "Cissy Strut".  The rest of the school was busy running the jam station down the street where kids got to experience first hand what being in a band is like.  It was a beautiful day filled amazing food, music and family fun, we can't wait until next year!
