Through this special 4-day songwriting camp, students will learn how to write their own songs! Students will analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years in order to develop their own tunes. They will learn about chord progressions, arrangements and other tricks of the trade. We’ll spend Monday through Thursday learning and writing songs, all culminating in a live performance. This music camp is great for students 9-18 years old who have had previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am-3pm
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends by performing the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week.
what to expect
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection.
cancellation policy
A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
