Jason Melton, co-owner of the School of Rock in Naples, is excited to bring his organizational skills and passion for community to the world of music education. After a successful career in sales, Jason dedicated 15 years to raising his two sons and managing his household, building strong connections within his community along the way. As an animal lover with five dogs—including his beloved toy Australian shepherd, Dave—Jason’s caring nature extends to his role at School of Rock, where he manages day-to-day operations. Jason is thrilled to help create an inspiring environment for young musicians in Naples, connecting with families and supporting students on their musical journeys.
Gaby Brown
Assistant General Manager
Gaby Brown began her School of Rock journey as a student at the West Broward, FL location at age 14, progressing from Rock 101 to House Band and eventually becoming an AllStar in 2015. After graduating, she toured with the AllStars as an intern and worked at various School of Rock locations across South Florida and New Jersey, moving from instructor to Studio Coordinator and now Assistant General Manager. Gaby’s passion for School of Rock, paired with her expert customer service skills, makes her a perfect fit to run operations at School of Rock Naples. She is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of rock stars and spreading a love for music throughout the community.
Casey Anderson
Music Director, Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Drum Teacher, Show Director
Casey Anderson is the music director at the School of Rock in Naples and a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience teaching music and coaching bands. He began as a substitute instructor at the School of Rock in Dallas and worked his way up to lead show director, studio coordinator, and eventually music director at the School of Rock in Overland Park.
A multi-instrumentalist and seasoned performer, Casey has shared the stage with iconic bands like Foreigner, The Toadies, and Drowning Pool. Known for his engaging teaching style, he inspires students to develop their skills, explore their creativity, and build a lifelong passion for music.
Sara Melton
Co-Owner, Vocal Teacher
Sara Melton, co-owner of School of Rock Naples, is a seasoned musician and business leader who has led successful bands since her twenties. Known for her expertise in social strategy, song selection, and venue collaboration, Sara brings both business acumen and vibrant energy to the stage. By day a corporate executive and by night a dynamic performer, she’s passionate about teaching young musicians the essentials of vocals, stage presence, and audience connection. With a commitment to inspiring confidence through performance, Sara fosters a supportive environment where students learn to embrace their creativity and command the stage.
Matt McMahon
Drum Teacher
Matt McMahon is a dedicated drum instructor and lead director for Rock 101, Adult Band, and Performance Group at the School of Rock in Naples. His musical journey began in the fourth grade, first on trumpet and later on drums, participating in marching, jazz, and concert bands throughout high school. He went on to study music at Franklin Pierce University, earning an English degree with a minor in music. With over 25 years of experience as a middle school English teacher, Matt is also an active drummer in the local band Avya, performing across Southwest Florida. Matt’s dual passions for teaching and music come alive at School of Rock, where he helps students develop their skills, dedication, and joy for performing, fostering confidence that shines on stage.
Kobyn Melton
Drum Teacher, Vocal Teacher
Kobyn Melton is an accomplished drummer known for his powerful metal drumming and mastery of the "metal growl" vocal technique. Currently pursuing a degree in business at FSW, Kobyn brings a specialized skill set in mixing, mastering, and live audio/PA setup, making him an exceptional mentor for students interested in both performance and sound engineering. His passion for music drives him to help students unlock their potential, and he finds immense joy in watching them grow as musicians. With his dedication to fostering young talent, Kobyn inspires students to develop their unique musical voices, whether on stage or behind the scenes.
Luis Reyes
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Luis Reyes is a skilled bassist with over six years of musical experience, currently performing with FLORA Top Hits Band. Having started with clarinet in middle school and tenor saxophone in high school, Luis developed a solid foundation in music theory and reading sheet music, which he now applies to his bass teaching at the School of Rock in Naples. As a graduate of the School of Rock Fort Myers House Band program, he understands the journey of a young musician and is committed to guiding his students at all skill levels. Luis focuses on technique, music theory, and the essential skill of locking in with a drummer to create a strong rhythm section. His approach introduces students to bass legends and classic basslines, making learning both educational and exciting.
Sheila Reyes
Vocal Teacher
Sheila Reyes, a professional vocalist with over 15 years of experience, is a seasoned performer and the lead vocalist of FLORA Top Hits Band. As both a voice instructor at the School of Rock in Naples and leader of her band, Sheila combines her passion for performance with her dedication to teaching. She is skilled in helping students improve pitch, tone, and range while promoting safe, effective vocal techniques. Sheila’s individualized approach allows her to tailor lessons to each student's needs, helping them build on their strengths and reach their full potential. Her guidance supports young vocalists as they grow artistically and gain the confidence to shine on stage.
Reiann Anderson
Vocal Teacher, Guitar Teacher
Reiann Anderson is a dedicated vocal instructor and leads our Little Wing & Rookies programs. With a lifelong passion for singing and music, Reiann has performed in choirs, school ensembles, and community events, even competing at the state level in classical competitions. She is nearing completion of her Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy at Florida Gulf Coast University, where she majors in voice and studies guitar, piano, and percussion. Reiann’s love for music and her experience working with children inspire her to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. She is committed to helping young vocalists discover their voices and build confidence through music.
Rick Swensen
Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Rick is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and brings a wealth of experience to his role as a keyboard instructor at School of Rock Naples. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Rick’s musical journey began with the trumpet before he added piano to his repertoire.
After college, Rick toured throughout the Northeast as a keyboardist, playing in several bands and later starting his own business as a music product and pro audio sales rep. Now retired and living in Naples, he plays the keyboard with the local band Avya and remains active in the music community. Rick’s deep-rooted love for music, combined with his years of experience, makes him a fantastic guide for young musicians eager to develop their keyboard skills.
Dorian Méndez
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Drum Teacher
Dorian Méndez is an experienced multi-instrumentalist and music instructor with a diverse music education and performance background. Originally from Argentina, Dorian has studied jazz, orchestration, and music production at Georgia State University, Chico State University, and EMC (Berklee Network) in Buenos Aires. His professional career includes collaborations with prominent artists and international tours, working as a producer, arranger, and session musician.
Dorian is passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping young musicians develop their skills and confidence, inspiring them to embrace their unique musical voices on stage and beyond.
John Zieser
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Show Director
John Zieser is a versatile guitarist inspired by legends like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Black Sabbath. He studied jazz guitar under John Albaugh, a former instructor at the Guitar Institute of Technology, and performed professionally while still in high school. John continued his education at Arizona State University, where he learned audio engineering and began teaching guitar.
After moving to Des Moines, IA, he became one of the original instructors at the West Des Moines Guitar Center and performed at major events like the Riverview Music Festival and 80/35 Music Festival. With over 20 years of musical experience, John brings his diverse background and passion for teaching to School of Rock Naples, inspiring students to explore their creativity and reach their full potential.
Everton Azevedo
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Everton Azevedo is a talented guitarist from Brazil with over 20 years of musical experience. He began playing guitar at age 8 and performing live at 13, learning from real-world collaborations and masterclasses with renowned musicians.
Everton has recorded albums, worked as a session musician, and performed with notable artists in Brazil, Bolivia, and the U.S. He is the guitarist for SLG (Sudamérica Latin Groove), a band known for blending rock, jazz, funk, Latin, and classical music. His high-energy performances and expressive style captivate audiences everywhere he plays.
Passionate about teaching, Everton believes in learning by doing. At School of Rock Naples, he helps students build confidence, express themselves, and channel their energy into every performance.
