School of Rock South Palm Beach, North Palm Beach, and Mamaroneck, NY Announce European Tour for Housebands
South Palm Beach, FL – June 5, 2024 – The renowned School of Rock branches from South Palm Beach, North Palm Beach, and Mamaroneck, NY, are thrilled to announce their upcoming European tour. The housebands from these schools will showcase their talents in a series of performances across Portugal and Spain, bringing the energy and passion of rock music to an international audience. This tour presents an incredible opportunity for these young musicians to travel, learn about other cultures, perform alongside peers from different countries, and gain valuable experience in responsible travel and international performance.
The tour kicks off on Thursday, June 27th, when our students will fly from the US to Barcelona, Spain. They'll settle into B&B Barcelona Viladecans, where they'll stay until Sunday, June 30th.
On Friday, June 28th, and Saturday, June 29th, our talented young musicians will perform at LaNau Barcelona from 11 AM to 3 PM. To immerse themselves in the local culture, they will attend an authentic Flamenco music and dance show at the City Hall Theatre at 8:30 PM on Saturday night.
Sunday, June 30th is a travel day. The group will take a speed train from Barcelona to Madrid, departing at noon and arriving at 3:15 PM. In Madrid, they’ll stay at the Holiday Inn Express until Wednesday, July 3rd. The day will also include a rehearsal at School of Rock Pozuelo and a group dinner with the Madrid team.
The Madrid performances will take place on Monday, July 1st, at Moby Dick Madrid from 7 PM to 10 PM, and on Tuesday, July 2nd, at ReyLouie Madrid Majadahonda, also from 7 PM to 10 PM.
On Wednesday, July 3rd, the students will fly to Lisbon, Portugal, on a quick 2-hour flight, arriving in the afternoon. They will stay at the Holiday Inn Continental Lisboa for four nights, until Sunday, July 7th.
In Lisbon, they will perform at Casa De Pedra on Thursday, July 4th, and Friday, July 5th, from 5 PM to 8 PM. To wrap up the tour, they’ll enjoy a relaxing day at Cascais Beach on Saturday, July 6th.
The tour concludes on Sunday, July 7th, and our students will return home, bringing with them unforgettable memories and invaluable performance experience.
This tour represents an incredible opportunity for our students to gain international performance experience, collaborate with local musicians, and immerse themselves in diverse cultural experiences. We are thrilled to support our young rockers as they take this monumental step in their musical journeys.
