Bluesberry Music + Art Festival Returns to Covington

The sixth annual Bluesberry Music + Art Festival will take place Oct. 4 in Covington with a stellar lineup of regional and national talent. Headlining this full-day celebration of blues music and the arts is Texas blues-rock singer/songwriter and guitarist Casey James. Other featured performers include Jared Daws, JJ Muggler, Julian Primeaux, and New Orleans blues band Kevin & The Blues Groovers. The festival will also showcase local and regional musicians on its Pavilion Stage.

Over the course of the twentieth century, expressions of queerness were criminalized and marginalized, often making queer music one of the only safe places to voice these feelings.
