Growing up, my mom had The Police, Madonna, and Earth, Wind & Fire on constantly. My mom rules and I’m still heavily influenced by the music she loves. Otherwise, I am always inspired by my students. I push myself to continue to learn and improve as a drummer so that I can be a better teacher for them.

2. What famous musician, dead or alive, would you like to have dinner with?

It’s a toss-up between Beyonce, Hayley Williams, and Courtney Love.

3. What is your favorite brand to work with and why?

I recently got a K Custom ride that I’ve wanted forever and I’m obsessed.

4. What is your favorite line from a song?

Anything from "This Must Be the Place."

5. What is the best live music performance you have seen?

I saw St. Vincent’s Masseduction tour at the Electric Factory and it blew my mind.

Community, Talent, Noise

7. What do you hope your students will take away from your lessons, show, summer camp?

I hope that my students leave their summer camps, lessons, and shows with a sense of accomplishment and confidence that they will carry with them in their daily lives.
