Is School of Rock for beginners?

 

School of Rock is suited for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians. The program aims to prepare every student for the stage.

What does School of Rock teach?

 

At School of Rock, we offer lessons in guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard/piano, and singing. What makes School of Rock different from traditional music lessons is our Method™, which integrates individual instruction with group rehearsals and live performances. This unique approach teaches students how to play as a band.

Does School of Rock teach music theory?

 

As part of the School of Rock Method, our SongFirst™ approach utilizes classic songs to teach technique and music theory, helping students remain excited about their music education and eager to practice.

How does School of Rock work?

 

School of Rock offers multiple programs that utilize a unique performance-based music education method and develops musical skills through our exclusive Method Engine, Method App, Method Book collection, and SongFirst approach.

WHAT AGE DOES SCHOOL OF ROCK START?

 

At School of Rock Princeton, we start students with private lessons at age 8, but we do have our Rookies music program for children as young as 6 years old.
