FALL 2024 SEASON SHOW ANNOUCEMENT: LEGENDS
We are thrilled to bring our School of Rock community together with an exciting, unifying theme across all of our schools - School of Rock Cary, School of Rock Raleigh, and School of Rock Holly Springs. As we embark on this new chapter, we are uniting around a common theme: LEGENDS. This seaon, we celebrate the legendary bands and artists who have shaped rock music and continue to inspire musicians of all ages. This is a special season of unification, and there's no better time to join a band and be part of this unique moment.
WHY ENROLL IN OUR LEGENDS SEASON?
Each band we cover this season represents a unique and pivotal moment in rock history. By playing music from these legendary artists, students will not only learn complex and reqarding musical pieces but also gain insights into the different styles and techniques that have shaped rock music. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to step out of their comfort zones, embrace new challenges, and become well-reounded musicians.
BANDS WE'LL BE COVERING:
1. AC/DC: High-energy music perfect for mastering hard-hitting rock anthems
2. The Beatles: Legendary British rock band formed in the 1960s, know for revolutionizing music with their innovative sound, profound lyrics, and cultural impact
3. Black Sabbath: Pioneers of heavy metal, are know for their dark, heavy sound and iconics hits
4. Joan Jett: Pioneering rock musican and feminst icon, renowned for her gritty voice, rebellious spirit
5. Pat Benatar: Energetic performances and innovative sound with classic rock anthems
6. Pink Floyd: Masters of progressive and psychedelic rock with complex compositions
7. The Who: British rock band, famous for their electrifying performances, innovative rock operas, and iconic songs

HOW TO ENROLL IN THE SUMMER SEASON
- Parents of current students should fill out the Show Selection Form emailed to you. If you did not get the email, let us know at cary@schoolofrock.com.
