YOUR CHILD CAN ROCK ON STAGE THIS SUMMER!
The Performance Program is School of Rock's hallmark music program, where tens of thousands of students enroll each year. Utilizing the patented School of Rock Method, Performance Program consists of a weekly group rehearsal where kids and teens learn by playing rock music's most iconic songs with a band composed of their peers. Students are assigned songs and parts that are tailored to them based on their age, experience, and ability to learn new skills and concepts. Students then work through their parts in weekly private music lessons, and refine the skills and concepts that those songs introduce. The goal of this curriculum is to prepare kids and teens for live performances. Every few months, Performance Program students take the stage and play at local music venues in front of a live audience.

If you’ve listened to and learned all of the classics, and if you need a fresh and exciting push to step up your playing, this is the show for you. This show will force you to play loudly, confidently, and packed full of attitude. Expect to hear artists such as Simple Plan, Blink 182, and Good Charlotte.
ROCK N GROHL

Isn’t it weird the front man for the Foo Fighters, the drummer for Queens of the Stone Age, and Them Crooked Vultures all look like the drummer from Nirvana? Crazy, right? This show will span Dave Grohl’s impressive 37-year musical career where he played for the bands named above, as well as Tenacious D, Ghost, Cage the Elephant and more!
WHAT DO YOU MEME?
AGES 13-18 | FRIDAYS, 4:00-5:30 OR 6:00-7:30
The internet's influence on popular music has been undeniable. While it can certainly help in shooting new songs to stardom overnight (*cough Driver’s License cough*), the internet mostly uses its powers for evil and makes old songs popular again for no good reason. Come, let us celebrate meme culture in all of it’s glory with this surprisingly good and educational selection of musical numbers. Prepare to be exposed to multiple genres and various styles of playing. Expect to hear gems like Africa, Chop Suey, and All Star.
COACHELLA
AGES 13-18 | saturdays, 1:00-2:30 or 3:00-4:30
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (commonly called Coachella or the Coachella Festival) is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. It was co-founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999. Coachella showcases popular and established musical artists as well as emerging artists and reunited groups. It is one of the largest and most famous music festivals in the United States and the world. Coachella's success led to Goldenvoice establishing additional music festivals at the site, including the annual Stagecoach country music festival beginning in 2007, the Big 4 thrash metal festival in 2011, and the classic rock-oriented Desert Trip in 2016.
