In the mid 1960's the British invaded the music scene and changed the landscape! The Beatles, The Hollies, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones. How many will we explore this week?
CAMP DESCRIPTION
This is a Performance Level camp and students must be underway as musicians. Campers will take a deep dive into and celebrate The British Invasion, discovering the rock and roll bands that became popular in the US and heralded the 'counterculture' in both countries. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 90s, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 8-15 years of age who have had previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9am - 3pm
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time, and fun game & activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- A 75% refund will be given if cancelled before 2/28/2025
- A 50% refund will be given on camps cancelled after 3/1/2025 and up to 15 days prior to the camp start date
- Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund
