The 90s were one of music’s most important decades as grunge and alternative music took over the airwaves and popular culture. Come celebrate bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, No Doubt, Weezer and many more in our Best of the 90s summer camp. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 90s, all culminating in a live performance on Friday.
Great for students 9-18 years old who play at an intermediate level or above. Evaluation required for non SoR students. If you are unsure of your child’s ability level please contact us for an evaluation prior to signing up. Any current specials or discounts will be honored.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, campers will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
Weekly camp schedule
- Camp runs Monday through Friday, 10am-3pm each day
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time, and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
performance
Join us on Friday, June 20th for a live performance showcasing all the best 90s songs! Students will need to be dropped off at the venue (TBD) at 10 AM, not at the school. They will rehearse their set, eat lunch and get ready to rock the stage! Showtime for family and friends will be at 2 PM.
cancellation policy
A refund, less a $50 fee, will be offered on camps canceled by the participant up until March 1st, applied to the credit card used for the original purchase. Cancellations after March 1st are not eligible for a refund.
sale policy
We run sales on camps periodically throughout the year. While you can wait for a sale, this will not guarantee you a spot in a camp as they do fill up quickly. We will not retroactively discount a camp from a current or future sale. All pricing is final once the processing is complete.
