sign-ups: apr 29 - May 12
We'll distribute an online sign-up form to families by April 29 to rank your preference for the upcoming show themes and let us know your availability for rehearsal times. You will need to submit your sign up form by May 12 to be included in the first round of show placements. After the initial sign-up window is over, SOR staff will place students in shows based on their show preference and availability.
WHY ARE WE DOING SIGN-UPS THIS WAY?
This approach will allow us to balance the cast in each show more evenly from the outset, give students' educational needs more weight, and take the pressure off of parents to be the first one to sign up!
We anticipate most students being placed in their first choice show. Students will still be able to sign up for any remaining open spots after the first round of placements, but we highly encourage you to sign up in the first round to have the best chance at being placed in your first or second choice show.
