27 students from School of Rock had the opportunity to share the stage with music industry icons, including Lizzo, Odesza, Oliver Tree, Kendrick Lamar, Sofi Tukker, Metro Boomin, Haim, Diplo, and many more.

27 School of Rock House Band students from various locations across New York State will join Grammy-winning artists Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo, and ODESZA on stage at the Governors Ball Music Festival.

School of Rock student Nikhil Talwalkar, an AllStar from the New Canaan school, wrote and recorded a solo album, Reality Drips Into the Mouth of Indifference, which landed on Spin Magazine's top ten metal albums of the year alongside genre legends like Ozzy Osbourne.

JD Beck, former School of Rock Frisco student, performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with DOMi and Mac Demarco.

All three Horsegirl members, when they were between 12 and 15 years old, got interested in School of Rock. Their band is the best-known member of the Chicago music and arts collective Hallogallo.

Rocco Ramos, a 17-year-old drumming student at School of Rock Katy and senior at Seven Lakes High School was one of just two students nationally from the music school chosen to participate in the Modern Drummer Festival this year. The festival was virtual this year, but Ramos said he really enjoyed the experience and being able to share his love of music through a drum solo inspired by Neil Peart of the band Rush.
