Bethany also had the honor of studying jazz and jazz history with the amazing and talented pop, jazz, and country drummer Jim White (Maynard Ferguson, Alison Krauss, Dick Oatts, Willie Nelson, and many others). She graduated with a bachelor's degree in classical music in 2007.

From 2013 to 2023, Bethany worked with the established and well-respected Higher Ground Band—a premier cover/party band in the Miami area for over 20 years—at many famous Miami landmarks and venues including Fontainebleau, The Biltmore, The Breakers, and more.

Bethany continues to work the Miami music scene, including playing at the Miami Music Festival. She has also worked with many community bands, big bands, concert bands, and one-offs with artists and guest artists including Jennifer Hudson and Bruce Springsteen.

Her Favorite Activity Ever.

I enrolled my daughter in the Rookies class a little over a month ago. She's been in dance, gymnastics and a different music class, but this by far is her favorite. Thanks School of Rock!

My boys feel like stars.

Both of my boys have been taking guitar lessons here since they opened. The instructors are wonderful and very knowledgeable. They teach the kids what they really want to know- how to play great music.

Can't Rave About It More!

We felt right at home immediately. My son has some special issues and the people catered to our every need. My son who struggled with music now loves it and found a home there.

There's no school greater!

It's the best music program for kids and adolescents. If you want to become a good musician and learn how to really play, as well as learn music theory, this is the place for you.
