Her interest in music started when she was 8 years old. Her dad was part of the inspiration.

"He [her father] used to teach me and my brother. songs on guitar. And then my sister started taking lessons, and I wanted to be like her. So I just picked up the guitar and started trying to play," she said. 

Playing at the School of Rock has taught her the fun of performing with other people. She says it's also a way to learn.
