The Iowa State Fair is always a favorite Iowa event every August. For 11 days, people from across the country can enjoy a vast variety of fried food, beer, or enjoy livestock shows and entertainment at the Fairgrounds. But before all the fun kicked off in East Des Moines, thousands of people came together for a parade to celebrate the best days of the year. And this year, the parade featured more than 200 floats. One of them was a flatbed acting as a stage for the West Des Moines House Band. An estimated 10,000 spectators could see and literally hear what the school has to offer, while the house band played six songs along the route on it's rockin' float!
