I Heart the '80s

The 80s brought us a wave of new sounds and music genres, and produced hits that still rock the airwaves today. In this music camp, we’ll perform hits from artists like Billy Idol, Devo, Cyndi Lauper, Blondie, Flock of Seagulls and many more. Monday through Friday will be spent learning and practicing 80s songs, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 8-17 years of age who have had some previous instruction or a basic proficiency on their instrument(s).

What to Expect

Camp will run 9 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday and 9 am to 2 pm on Friday with a performance at the Skylark Cafe Friday evening at 5 pm.

Campers should have their own instruments for practicing at home after camp. Guitarsits and bassists should bring their own instrument to camp. The school has keyboards, drum sets and amplifiers for use at camp.
