In this music camp, students will study and perform songs made famous by Pop Legends such as Taylor Swift, Prince, Kelly Clarkson and many more.
Camp DESCRIPTION
Throughout Rock and Roll history, some of the best performers were also the most popular of their time. These early Pop Legends such as Aretha Franklin, Dianna Ross and Dusty Springfield paved the way for modern icons such as Taylor Swift, Madonna, Kelly Clarkson, Michael Jackson and Prince. After rehearsing for five days, the campers will take the stage on the final camp day. This is a great camp for instrumentalists and vocalists 8-18 years of age, who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day.
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time, and fun music-based games and activities.
- On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they’ve been working on all week at a live rock venue.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Our summer camps are geared toward kids ages 8-18 with all skill levels welcome. Students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection to camp every day.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. We kindly ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks and to ensure no toy or real weapons are brought to camp. This helps us maintain a safe, inclusive space where everyone can focus on making music and having fun!
