Noelle
Little Wing Teacher, Rookies Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Noelle is our dedicated Little Wing and Rookies teacher and is a vocal and piano teacher at School of Rock Winter Park. Noelle is a passionate and experienced music educator who graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Music. Singing since she could talk and playing the piano for much of her life, Noelle has always been immersed in the world of music. She has performed in numerous theatrical productions, including her standout roles as Maggie Jones in 42nd Street, Ethel McCormick in Footloose, and Ti Moune in Once On This Island. She was also featured as a soloist in the Celebrate America TV Special. Noelle’s devotion to music extends beyond performance. She had the privilege of serving as a musical director at a Broadway summer camp for several years, working with young performers to bring out their best talents.
Noelle has a deep enthusiasm for introducing young children to musical concepts and is excited to share her expertise and passion for music as a teacher at School of Winter Park, inspiring the next generation of musicians through private and group lessons and rehearsals.
Micah
Show Director, Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Micah is a multi-talented musician, singer, songwriter, and producer with extensive experience spanning decades in the music and entertainment industries. He teaches vocals, guitar, piano, and bass, and is a Show Director at School of Rock Winter Park.
Micah has cultivated a distinguished career, performing across diverse genres and collaborating with renowned artists. Beginning at an early age, he trained in classical piano, voice, and guitar under esteemed mentors, excelling in regional music competitions. He refined his talents at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, Valencia College, and the University of Central Florida, where he graduated with top honors.
Micah has performed with bands such as Leave It To Us, Howl At The Moon, DRIP, Stage Panic, and The Public Records, touring regionally and nationally. His credits include working with Yellowcard, Lady Gaga, Blue Man Group, and Cee Lo Green’s Production Team. His experience extends beyond performance to composition, audio engineering, and directing, having scored independent films, composed for commercials, and served as Assistant Music Director for DRIP. His diverse career includes roles with Disney Cruise Line, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disney Resort, Universal Orlando, Busch Gardens, and more.
Beyond his work as a performer, Micah has also served as music instructor, imparting his expertise to students at various music schools. Driven by his passion for music, education, and performance, he continues to inspire both audiences and aspiring musicians at School of Rock Winter Park.
James
Drum Teacher
James is a drum teacher at the School of Rock Winter Park. He has a strong connection to the School of Rock community, having started as a student at the School of Rock in his hometown, Barrington, IL, where he was actively involved in the Performance Program and House Band for several years. A versatile musician, James teaches a wide range of musical styles, with a particular passion for pop punk, and he highlights Blink-182 and Green Day among his favorite bands.
James is currently pursuing a Communication degree at Rollins College and actively contributes to the Orlando music scene with his band which performs in various cities across Florida.
Austin
Studio Coordinator, Guitar Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Austin is one of our music studio coordinators and is a guitar, vocal, piano, and bass teacher at School of Rock Winter Park. His musical journey began at the age of 8 when he first impersonated Elvis on stage with help from his initial guitar instructor, who later formed a band to accompany him. Over time, Austin trained with various guitar instructors and vocal coaches, developing a deep appreciation for a variety of musical styles, and has played in and toured with multiple bands. A devoted fan of rock ‘n’ roll, particularly from the ‘70s and ‘90s, Austin has a love for nearly every genre of music.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Austin relocated to Winter Park, FL in 2019 to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Music Production at Full Sail University, which he completed in 2021. He is a passionate musician who enjoys guiding students to discover music that inspires them. One of his greatest joys in teaching is witnessing the happiness music brings to others. Outside of teaching at School of Rock Winter Park, Austin performs solo acoustic gigs in the area and works in the studio.
Nik
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Songwriting Teacher
Nik is a multi-instrumental teacher at School of Rock Winter Park who teaches guitar, bass, vocals, beginner piano, and songwriting. Nik began his musical journey learning piano at an early age, but it wasn’t until age 12 that he really cemented his love for music when he received his first guitar. While his musical influences run the gamut of pop culture from the 60s onward, his biggest influences come from a variety of alternative rock bands from the 90s, including My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, and Nirvana.
Nik plays guitar in the band, Expert Timing, and fronts his own band, Saucers Over Washington, as songwriter, guitarist, and singer. One of his musical career highlights has been playing Fest in Gainesville two years in a row at the Heartwood Stage with Expert Timing. Outside of music, Nik enjoys skateboarding/surfing, and film, and is an avid UFO researcher and podcaster.
Gabbie
Vocal Teacher, Guitar Teacher
Gabbie is a vocal and guitar teacher at School of Rock Winter Park, who is driven by a lifelong passion for music. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, she began playing guitar at the age of eight and has been performing ever since. A proud School of Rock alumni, she was a member of the Broward County House Band from 2020 to 2022 and is currently pursuing an AA in Music Performance at Valencia College. As the lead guitarist and harmony vocalist for Meadow Desperado, she brings valuable stage experience to her teaching.
Gabbie is a multi-instrumentalist, specializing in voice, with a focus on vocal technique, music theory, stage presence, and mic technique. She has a background in rock, soul, and bossa nova, and draws inspiration from artists like Jimi Hendrix, Queen, and Hiatus Kaiyote. Her teaching approach at School of Rock Winter Park emphasizes building confidence and helping students feel comfortable with their own voice and presence, both in rehearsals and on stage.
