FAQ

MY STUDENT IS NERVOUS ABOUT PLAYING LIVE. HOW WOULD YOU HELP WITH THAT?

We specialize in empowering nervous performers! Some of the greatest performers of all time are quite shy, actually. We've seen countless young musicians go from timid wall flowers to confident performers with stage presence that commands attention. Our staff and House Band members pay special attention to shy newcomers and help them out of their shell in no time.

HOW DO WE KNOW WHICH PROGRAM IS RIGHT FOR US?

Students 13 and up typically join our Performance Program to play songs and parts assigned to their skill level. Typically our students under the age of 13 who haven't had experience playing in a band yet join Rock 101. Students 6-7 join Rookies & students 4-5 join Little Wing.

WHEN ARE THE PERFORMANCES?

Our end of season performance shows vary from year to year but there's typically a weekend of performance shows at the end of Spring, the middle of Fall, and the middle of Winter.

Performing is the most important thing we do because students that perform in shows with a band learn about 4x faster than simply attending 1 on 1 lessons.

MY STUDENT HAS SPORTS THIS SEASON THAT MIGHT CAUSE SCHEDULING CONFLICTS.

No problem! Plenty of our students are also in sports. We have performance rehearsals 6 days a week to accomodate all different schedules.

If sports practice and other schedule commitments still interfere with rehearsal, we have a new performance season every 3-4 months. They can always join next season and still take lessons in the mean time.
