Please join us in welcoming a new member to the School of Rock Elmhurst crew:
Baily O'Connor
Vocal, Guitar and Keys Instructor
Baily has had a love for music since a young age and has tried to incorporate it into every stage of her life. Starting all the way back as an OPRF Children’s Chorus Melody Maker to becoming one of the founding members of her university’s Vocal Jazz Ensemble. She has been trained in a variety of instruments including piano, guitar, and percussion. However, she has found her musical home as a vocalist.
She began vocal training with local instructors in the Chicagoland area as well as enrolling in School of Rock Oak Park at the age of 14 and playing in her first band, The B-Sides. Her music education continued at Bradley University where she began classical opera training and graduated in May 2022 with her Bachelor’s of Science in Music - General. She has since began singing professionally as a wedding cantor.
She hopes to share her love for music through the use of collaboration and willingness to let go and have fun on stage. She’s absolutely thrilled to join the School of Rock team and help students find their lifelong love for music as well!
Have a great October!
- Collin, CJ, and everyone at Team SoR Elmhurst!
