TIS THE SEASON FOR ROCKIN FOR A REASON School of Rock Scottsdale is participating in a THREE School Show to celebrate all the hard work our students are putting into their shows. This show serves multiple purposes, as the name eludes, we are Rockin for a Reason! This season we recognize those in our community who might food insecure. One of our basic human needs is eating! We do it three times day! (sometimes more, lets be real) It's hard to imagine not having food to eat but there are thousands of our very own Valley residents who can use our help. Let's show our kids what we can do collectively to change the face of food insecurity this holiday season by coming to show and bringing a food donation OR Cash! We will begin taking donations at the school if you prefer to drop off your donation ahead of the show, just bring your canned goods to the school before December 7th!

The week spotlights independently-owned music venues, the backbone of the live music scene

The leader in performance-based music education is enhancing its proprietary curriculum to feature more music created by Black artists. The goal is to further educate students on the Black community’s history and central contributions to the development of Rock and Roll.

As part of the program, students will have one weekly private lesson on an instrument of their choice where they learn concepts, technique and theory.
