Every day, we watch our students grow from beginner musicians to confident and inspiring rock stars in their community. Browse photos, videos, posts and more to find out why School of Rock Highland Heights is more than just your local music school.
School of Rock is perfect for beginning musicians and intermediate and advanced musicians, too. School of Rock works to develop each student's skills to be stage-ready for performance.
School of Rock teaches guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard + piano, and singing. What sets School of Rock apart from traditional music lessons is our Method™ which combines one-on-one instruction with group rehearsals and live performances, teaching students how to play together as a band.
LEARN MOREYes, as part of the School of Rock Method, our SongFirst™ approach uses classic songs to teach technique and music theory. This method helps students remain excited about their music education and eager to practice.
School of Rock uses a patented performance-based music education method that builds musical proficiency through our proprietary Method Engine, Method App, Method Book collection, and SongFirst approach. Every student participates in a weekly private lesson paired with a weekly group rehearsal where musicians seasonally take the stage at top venues in the Cleveland area!

Lessons are available Monday through Thursday starting at 2:45 PM, with the final lesson at 8 PM. On Saturdays, lessons run from 10:30 AM to 3:45 PM. Please note that we are closed on Fridays and Sundays. Instructor availability may vary.
Students enrolled in Rock 101, Opening Act, Drum Core, Grad School, or our Main Performance Program will need to have their own instrument. Drummers and keyboardists are expected to have a full drum kit or keyboard at home for practice. Guitar and Bass students will bring their own instrument to lessons and rehearsals. Guitars and Basses should be electric, not acoustic, when purchasing.
While we do not rent gear, we do have a Gear Select program where enrolled students are able to purchase gear at a discount year-round.
We are a performance-based program, so we do not offer lessons independently of our performance program.
